There has been a long-standing close cooperation between the Elisabeth Selbert Comprehensive School and the District Working Group Music Rhineland-Süd e.V. (BAG Musik), a non-profit association for cultural youth education, through which many projects have been supported with state funds since 1994 (youth welfare and schools). In addition, BAG Music has long taken over the entire billing of the school’s own music school and provides most of the orchestra’s inventory. The orchestra office (A 110) serves as an interface between the comprehensive school and BAG Music.
