The support association, led by chairwoman Sabine Wanka-Keskiner, has launched the final major step in redesigning the schoolyard. Under the motto “Away from the asphalt desert – towards a dream schoolyard”, children’s wishes are being put into practice.
The project required months of coordination, political discussions and close cooperation with the city administration. Student representatives also supported the process with a productive panel discussion.
The result is already visible: new seating and redesigned areas are creating a more welcoming schoolyard for the whole school community.
